The Heart of The Peach Whisk
A Passion Born from Perseverance
In 2020, just two weeks after giving birth, in the heart of Covid, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. During my treatment I found myself in the kitchen often. Cooking and baking for my family was my way of creating happiness in chaos.
It brought me closer to my mother, who had passed away from lymphoma when I was a child. She had a great love for the kitchen. Through baking I started on a journey to get to know the women who came before me, which in turn taught me about myself.
Journey and Discovery
Baking allowed me to connect with my roots and understand the strength and resilience of the women in my family. The kitchen became a place of healing and creativity. I began to learn more about my mother, her mothers, and how food played apart in all their lives. I found a new passion in carrying on their stories and pouring my heart into every recipe.
Turning Passion into a Business
In 2022, I began working in a professional kitchen with some amazing chefs who gave me the push to start my catering company. It was during this time that I discovered one of my great grandmother‘s poundcake recipes. Her simple, but timeless recipe is the spark that inspired me to dive deeper into the world of pastry arts. With the support and encouragement of my family and colleges, I’ve turned my passion into a business.

Today, The Peach Whisk is more than just a catering company; it’s a celebration of life, love and joy of bringing people together through food. Every dessert is baked with love, inspired by my journey and the legacy of the women who came before me.
